Dr. Jaureguito is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in the treatment of sports injuries. He has a special interest in treatment of the knee, shoulder and hip conditions. Dr. Jaureguito has been practicing since 1995 in Fremont.
Dr. Jaureguito treats physically active people of all ages, with special emphasis on high school, college, and recreational athletes. His goal is to provide excellent care to each athlete. His staff tailors a treatment plan that is best suited to the athlete’s needs.
Dr. "J" and his staff work together with regional therapists to provide a continuum of care. The needs of the athlete are addressed at every juncture, from pre-operative education to post-surgical rehabilitation. The athlete is an active participant in the decision making process as our physician guides the athlete through his or her course of care.
A native of Reno, Nevada, Dr. Jaureguito is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame, and an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Jaureguito served his residency at the University of Chicago and his fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the Orthopaedic Specialty Hospital in Salt Lake City.

Dr. Jaureguito treats all sports related injuries and is expert in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee, hip and shoulder. He is fellowship trained in sports medicine and arthroscopy, having spent an extra year of training and research at The Orthopaedic Specialty Hospital in Salt Lake City. He cares for numerous high school, college, professional and recreational athletes. He is director of the FORM sports medicine program and is team physician for Cal-State East Bay and Ohlone College.
