Hi Dr. Jaureguito,

I just wanted to send you a quick thank you for the great results from my bilateral knee replacement back in June. On May 2nd I'll be doing a 100 mile charity bike ride in Napa, the Tour de Cure, to raise money for the American Diabetes Association. Since I was able to start riding my bike again after my second surgery, I've put in over 5,500 miles on the road. The knees feel great, no pain. I even recently started rock climbing with my youngest son at City Beach once or twice a week. I'll see you in July for my one year follow up, but just wanted to send a quick Thank You for your part in giving me back my active life.

You must believe me... this is the best ortho office I have ever visited. Dr. Besh's office staff are all outstanding. I am always greeted by a friendly smile and genuine interest in my recovery progress. Today, Dr. Besh had an emergency at my scheduled time. Immediately as the progress of the emergency was made known to the staff, patients were informed of the situation and appointment time delay. Patients knew exactly what to expect. For the past year I had been suffering with an ongoing pain in my left wrist due to an injury. The FORM Center came highly recommended. I had my surgery at their outpatient facility. I just wanted to say thanks to Dr. J for the outcome of my surgery. When I first was diagnosed with a torn meniscus, my primary care physician explained to me that after the surgery I may not be able to play contact sports (or if so, that I wouldn’t be able to play for at least 4-8 weeks). I play many sports but primarily soccer.

When he told me this I was extremely depressed at the thought of not being able to play soccer again. I had my surgery on August 15 and my follow-up appointment with Dr. J one week later on August 22. When Dr. J examined my knee and my progress and explained to me that I could resume playing sports again when I felt up to it.

Well the following Monday, I played soccer (10 days after the surgery) and played at about 80% of how I had been playing prior to my injury. By that Thursday (13 days after the surgery) I removed the brace that I had been using and felt like I was at 100% of where I was before the injury.

It has now been 6 weeks since the surgery and my knee is and has been completely healed for a few weeks now. All my teammates could not believe that I was able to start playing 10 days after the surgery. I just wanted to thank Dr. J for the great work that he did on my knee, and let him know that if anyone that I know ever needs a sports surgeon, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. J.

Dr. Besh was great! He listened to me and understood my problem right away. He performed the surgery at 7 am and at 10 am I was on my way home.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Jaureguito for 10 years now and couldn’t find a better doctor or office staff if we tried. His office staff is always friendly and makes us feel at ease. We never have to wait very long, as they never overbook, which quiets our anxiety.

Dr. Jaureguito, while being an excellent orthopaedic surgeon, has a very calming manner. He has performed successful knee surgery on my husband and shoulder surgery on my daughter, and being a registered nurse, I believe in going to the best when we have a medical problem.
